M:Science SMS Server

  m:science SMS Server integrates with your systems, applications and SMTP compatible email system including Microsoft Exchange Server, Lotus Notes/Domino and Novell GroupWise for 2-way sms text messaging to mobile phones. Developer tools are available for you to add 2 way SMS capability to your own applications or websites. The software has full active directory support and powerful OBDC connectivity options as well as a host of new features. Delivery of the text messages can be made through our own Internet SMS Gateway, a GSM modem or a PSTN/Tap dial-up modem depending on your needs.

Enterprise integration is provided for the vast majority of server based messaging and collaboration systems through an SMTP Gateway component. In addition, SMS Server boasts a Microsoft Outlook plug-in, thus providing out of the box integration with the most popular desktop email and collaboration client for all authorised users.

The SMS Server application is designed to operate under Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP operating systems and runs as a ‘Service? The Server Manager can be run from any Microsoft Windows 32 bit operating system and provides the management interface for administration of message queues, users and sessions.

The product facilitates the sending of text-based messages via three types of transport; Internet SMS Gateway (Recommended), GSM and PSTN/TAP.

The Client API provides developers with the facilities to integrate m:science SMS Server into any environment supporting ActiveX. All automation compatible languages including C++, Visual Basic, VB Script and Java Script can use the API.
