  This is an application to make the life of hosting resellers out there a little easier. This reseller hosting calculator allows you to work out the expense of your reseller hosting packages as well as the profit generated for your hosting package.

You enter the cost of your reseller package and then enter the details of the hosting package you plan on reselling. The program then works out the expense and the profit of the web hosting package.

For example; you enter the cost of your web reseller hosting package as 350 ZAR and then you enter the amount of disk space and bandwidth allocated to you (for example, 5000MB and 50000MB respectively).
You then enter the details of the shared web hosting package you will be reselling; lets call this web hosting package 'Web Hosting Package ABC'.
Web Hosting Package ABC will be sold for 55 ZAR and consists of the following web hosting characteristics:
- 10 MB of web hosting disk space
- 1000 MB of web hosting traffic

You then click on the calculate button and you will promptly be presented with your web hosting package details. In this example, Web Hosting Package ABC comes up with the following details:

As you can see, it takes the biggest expense of both your traffic and your disk space and uses that as the expense of the package. In the case of Web Hosting Package ABC it is costing you, the hosting reseller, 7.00 ZAR which makes your profit for this web hosting package R48.00.
This of course excludes any other web hosting expenses such as salaries and so forth, but it is a good indicator as to how much you are making off your web hosting packages that you are reselling.
